It's a direct mount design that works with cassettes up to 11-40T or 11-42T, giving you plenty of gear range for climbing. It has some great features for rough roads: a 13T low-friction guide wheel with sealed bearings for better mud and sand resistance, a built-in damping chain stabilizer to reduce chain slap on bumpy terrain, and a low-center-of-gravity hidden design that gives it 5mm more ground clearance than a standard road derailleur (so it's less likely to get hit by rocks). Weighs about 267g. Perfect for adventure riding, mixed surfaces, or long-distance comfort rides. Note: It's not meant for pure mountain biking with very small chainrings.
