Hey BMW and MINI owners – if you've got an oil leak around your oil filter housing, this OEM gasket kit is probably what you need. This is the genuine factory part (number 11428591460) made in Germany. It's a set of three small rubber grommets that seal the oil filter housing to the engine block. It fits a ton of models from 2013 to 2023 with the B-series engines: B36, B38, B46, B48, etc. That includes cars like the 230i, 330e, 430i, 530e, X1, X2, X3, X4, and MINI Coopers. It replaces the older part numbers 11428575899 and 11425B3A1A5. These newer OEM gaskets are supposedly upgraded to be more heat and corrosion-resistant than the old ones, which tend to fail over time and cause oil (and sometimes coolant) to leak out. A leak here can make a mess, cause smoke if oil hits the exhaust, and even damage the housing. This kit is just the gaskets – it doesn't include the cooler gasket.
